BUSH changes his stance everytime someone catches him LYING his ASS OFF!
He has killed several of my neighbors children and a few of my nieghbors here, with his whole IRAQ BULLSH*T. He is NOT WELCOME in our America.

I lost my job in Telecommunications because BUSH authorized my company to move several jobs OVER TO INDIA WHERE THEY DON"T SPEAK CLEAR ENGLISH, and now they are helping out people who call in to get help with their services here in AMERICA. He authorized almost EVERY company that has techs to move the jobs OVERSEAS, now me and about 300,000 of my business associates are out of a job and no one wants to hire us to even flip burgers 'cause we are "overqualified"!!!
Our unemployment rate has gone up over 1 million points but, get this, it only counts those WHOSE UNEMPLOYMENT HAS NOT RAN OUT!!! There are over an ADDITIONAL 10 MILLION unemployed people whose benefits are DRIED up. NOT counting the ones who were unemployed BEFORE THAT!
my landlord who owns SEVERAL properties is having problems getting rent collected, The courts here are CLOGGED with FED procedures (what they do here to kick non paying renters out of homes) and it is BACKLOGGED like NEVER before!
I did look up the definitions of treason under the US treason act and guess what...he has comitted SEVERAL acts of treason against our country.

want proof? Look up the US travel advisaries on any government website warning of where we are REALLY not recommended to go if we are US residents. It would be easier to list the countries we can go to without fear of getting killed.

Many UK companies have relocated call centres to India. It's unfortunate, but I don't blame them. They've obviously done their economics and come to the conclusion that the money saved in salaries outweighs the money lost on quality of service. It might not be ethical, but it's the way to run a profitable business. No room for emotion, it's all about the money.

and GnS, i totally hear ya' on basing your thinking on what's happened to you personally but i don't think everything can be blamed or credited on one guy. seven years ago the company i worked for shut down and moved to mexico, 5 years ago i got out of college for the second time and started with a company for less than peanuts, four years ago i started with my current company for decent peanuts and now, fours years after that i am still with the same company and well yeah, i've already mentioned the rest of the story. now following your thinking i would have to give all the credit to bush for the last four years of my professional live and that i am not willing to do. i've had a company shut down and move out of the country on me well before 4 years ago and the company i am at now does a lot of staff augmentation from india and south america. i just do what i have to do to move ahead. like stacey said, it's all big business.
now this doesn't mean i am going to run out and vote for bush, and the reason i am not voting for bush contradicts one of your statements. i don't think he has what it takes to be terrifying dictator/leader and that's what we need. maybe not terrifying but a strong, charismatic leader. someone who will command people's respect abroad while being compassionate to the people here cuz when it comes down to it, the president is just a PR man for america, the true decisions are made by the government and not the leader.
But do you see Kerry comanding "respect" or even being "feared" at all by other countries? I think part of the reason Osama more or less backed Kerry in that recent video is because Bush does scare the guy a bit. He knows a Kerry win can be seen as a "win" for his team.
Now, in the end, both sides suck eggs, and I feel terrible about being forced to vote for either of those assholes.
no, honestly i don't see Kerry as being a commanding presence in the eyes of the world but Bush has proven that he is not so we might as well give someone else a chance. besides the fact that it is basically the lesser of two evils, i am not to into the whole political landscape, arguing over who's better or who's right cuz i believe that no matter who is in the whitehouse, they will always be looking out for the big guy, not the everyday normal little guy like myself. besides that, 8 years ago when everyone was happy with the president and the economy i was in a bad place, now, 8 years later when everyone is crying about the president and the economy, i'm in a great place so logic would say i would vote for Bush but alas, not true.
i think Bush comes off as weak, unintellegent and non endearing. i don't pay too much attention to their political stances cuz they change those more then i change my socks so it comes down to character and i think Kerry is the lesser of the two evils here.
also, i don't see the draft coming back. they have been using that scare tactic since i was in high school, probably even before that. every year there is legislature brought before congress to reinstate the draft. every year, not just this year. it only reported this year cuz it can be used as political leverage.
I like poking fun at reactionaries, Carl. They lay this all on Bush. After Kerry wins and the world doesn't get any better, they'll continue to blame Bush.
